| Updated COVID-19 Guidelines Based on recent updates in North Carolina to COVID-19 guidelines, troops and service units can now meet in groups of 25 people maximum inside. The 50 people maximum outside rule has not changed. In the event that you have a question about any gatherings, we invite you to view the guidance here from the NC Department of Health and Human Services. If your city/county has more restrictive guidelines in place, those should be followed first. All three of our resident camps are looking for some fun, camp-loving staff for summer camp 2021! No Girl Scout experience is needed. From unit assistant to kitchen aid to riding instructor and assistant camp director, there are a variety of positions available. Food, lodging, insurance and pre-camp training is provided. Special Cookie Program Incentives In an effort to encourage troops and girls to continue to reach their sales goals in these last two weeks of the cookie program, we will be giving away a special patch to all girls whose troop picks up at least two cases of cookies from a cupboard the week of March 1. In addition, troops that pick up at least five cases will be entered in a drawing to win a badge workshop at one of our camps or a virtual V.I.P Experience. AND, if your troop picks up 10 cases, you will be entered in a drawing to win a $100 Amazon gift card!  |
Camp Sunshine- Girl Program Directors Are you an older girl who loves to plan events for younger girls? Do you love camp? Don’t miss your chance to join the Camp Sunshine Planning Team! Camp Sunshine is a yearly event at Camp Ginger Cascades that is organized and run by older girls for girls in grades 3-5 who might not otherwise get to experience camp. Important dates for the planning team include: March 20, 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. (Planning Day) April 10, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. (Practice Day) May 1, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. (Camp Sunshine Event) To join the team, please click here!  Community Partner Spotlight Saturday, March 13: Virtual Girls in Aviation Day  Wake Forest’s Women in Law is hosting a FREE, five-week virtual Girl Scout mock trial series! It is meant to introduce Girl Scouts to trial advocacy and public speaking. The goal is to get more girls interested and exposed to the legal field, as well as to help young girls work on their public speaking skills in an exciting way.
