Sunday, March 7: Spiritual Sunday
Honor your beliefs in whatever way you see fit. Explore the different faith-based awards that you can earn as a Girl Scout. If your troop meets at a place of worship, thank the congregation for their support. We have a Girl Scout Promise and Law video that you can use at your service, or you can create your own video, artwork or special way to participate in the service. We would love to see how you participate, so please send us a Girl Scout News entry! Submit the name of your house of worship and a certificate of appreciation will be sent to them. Don’t forget that you can also get a fun patch to celebrate Girl Scout Week’s days of faith!
Monday, March 8: Make New Friends Monday
We want all girls to experience the Girl Scout Leadership Experience! Do you have a friend you want to invite to join your troop or participate with you in some virtual programming? Now is the time! We have something for all girls. And during the month of March, troops who add new girls get some exclusive goodies to share! Learn more about 3-2-1 S’more Girls for S’more Fun here.
Tuesday, March 9: Thank A Camp Tuesday
Who loves camp? Today is the day to show off that camp love! Wear your favorite camp T-shirt, sign up for a weekend program, register for your favorite summer camp session (virtual or in-person!). You can even give the gift of camp to another Girl Scout by clicking here or donate an item to your favorite camp property by clicking on their wishlist links.
Wednesday, March 10: We Love Our Shops Wednesday
Come shop in our council shops from Noon- 5 p.m. There is lots of new stuff for your favorite Girl Scout! Rather shop online? We will be hosting a Girl Scout Online Boutique at 7 p.m. on Facebook on our Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont page. There will be special deals, fun games and prizes!
Thursday, March 11: Thin Mint Thursday
What’s your Girl Scout Cookie knowledge? Take our quiz! The 2021 Cookie Program ends on Sunday, March 14. Make sure you stock up now on your favorite flavors. Maybe you a have special Girl Scout Cookie dessert recipe you like to make? Share it with a friend today!
Friday, March 12: Happy Birthday Girl Scouts!
Girl Scouts is 109 years old today! Wear your uniform, a Girl Scout shirt, a favorite pin to show your pride in the legacy and organization that Juliette Gordon Low founded in 1912. Post a photo of you with your Girl Scout gear using #proudp2pgirlscout to be entered in a drawing for your choice of a gift card from several locations.
You can also show your support for the future of Girl Scouts in your community by giving a birthday gift!
Saturday. March 13: Service Saturday
Show some love to your community by doing a service project today. Big or small- every action to make our world a better place matters! Show us how you are giving back by tagging us on social media and using #serviceSaturday. Don’t forget to also mark your calendars for our annual Weekend of Service, happening April 9-11.
