Join these outdoor courses to help you get ready to take your troop camping this spring and summer! Click the links below for details and to register.
Camp License Training (Fire Building, Outdoor Cooking, Tenting): Saturday, May 8 at Keyauwee Program Center
Camp License Renewal: Sunday, April 18, Virtual 
Backpacking Course: Friday, May 14-Sunday, May 16
Are your girls ready for the next level of camping? Have you completed your Camp License training? If so, then you are ready to take the Backpacking Course! There will be a required pre-class Zoom session and then your backpacking training adventure happens May 14-16.

P2P Girls Attend Commission on the Status of Women 
Every year, 16 Girl Scouts from across the country are accepted to become Girl Scout delegates for the CSW (Commission on the Status of Women). This year, the 65th Annual Meeting of the Commission on the Status of Women is no different. Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont (GSCP2P) has one staff member and two girl members attending the meeting this year, which is being held virtually. Valerie King, Troop Experience Manager, is the staff liaison for Hope Williams, a Girl Scout Ambassador from Rockingham County and Kathryn Thomas, a young alum, from Henderson County.

GSCP2P Interfaith Committee
Applications are now being accepted for the GSCP2P Interfaith Committee. This team will work to elevate faith-based initiatives in the following areas:
Troop/Sponsor Prospecting & Cultivation (fostering relationships with the faith community)
On-going Interfaith Troop Support (educate & support our troops)  
Faith-Partner Relationship Development (connecting with the various religious youth organizations)  
My Promise, My Faith & Religious Recognition Promotions (materials & marketing support)  
Faith-Based Activities/Events (service unit/council-wide/national) 
If you have have a passion to connect faith and Girl Scouts in any of these areas, you are encouraged to apply here. The deadline to apply is Saturday, May 1.

Summer Camp Early Bird Deadline Ends March 31
Now is the time to register for your favorite summer camp sessions before the early bird deadline of Wednesday, March 31! Registering before this deadline will save you $50 on weeklong, in-person summer sessions.

Saturday, March 27: A Trip to Mars- An Immersive Murder Mystery Experience in Space (virtual, Girl Scout Brownie, Junior & Cadette) 
This same program runs March 31 and April 7 as well.
