Are you excited to be the face and voice of our council during local interviews? Would you like to write a guest post for our blog? Are you interested in taking photos or videos at our council events? Or maybe even help us create some fun content for our social media pages? As a Media Girl, all of these opportunities are open to you.
Applications for our 2021-22 Media Girls Team are now being accepted. Along with opportunities to grow their speaking and writing skills, girls will also participate in regular meetings and virtual Q&A’s with local media personalities and learn about different news professions through behind-the-scenes opportunities.
The Media Girls program is open to girls of all levels, Daisies through Ambassadors, across the council. Applications for the upcoming year are due by Friday, September 3.
