Volunteer Leadership Conference- July 30
This year’s Volunteer Leadership Conference is happening on Saturday, July 30 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Hickory. The event runs from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. 

With news and updates, workshops and networking time, this annual event helps volunteers start the new troop year off right. The day is open to all troop and service unit volunteers. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Register by July 16 to join us!

Leaderee Registration is Open!  
Leaderee is back this year, and we can’t wait to see you! This volunteer training weekend happening at Keyauwee Program Center September 9-11 is filled with so many opportunities- from first aid and camping and tenting licenses to fun crafty workshops and connecting with other Girl Scout adults. You can find all the information about Leaderee and what is being offered here

The Early Bird Registration deadline is July 29. 

Information about our other two Volunteer Learning Weekends will be coming out soon. Until then you can save-the-date for Trainfest happening October 14-15 at Camp Pisgah and Leaderfest happening November 4-6 at Camp Ginger Cascades. 

PAW Patrol Live 
We are excited to share a special Girl Scout discount on the Asheville’s performance of PAW Patrol Live: The Great Pirate Adventure. The deadline to order discount tickets is July 7, but tickets are limited and may run out before then so get yours today!

It’s Pool Party Time!
Bring your favorite adult out to Camp Ginger Cascades for a weekend of outdoor fun. Spend time doing all your favorite camp activities and even participate in a pool party. Find all the details here!  

Volunteer Opportunities: Camp Thanks-A-Lot 
Our Camp Thanks-A-Lot events are running at our three camp properties throughout the summer. Volunteers can sign up for a variety of responsibilities- from being a lunch helper to craft volunteer to even helping at the archery field. All volunteer opportunities can be found on the interest form. Events will run from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m., but volunteers will get breaks throughout the day, including time for lunch.
