| Sending Girl Scout Love Our hearts are broken for the girls and families of Girl Scout Troop 5567 from Topeka, Kansas who tragically lost three Girl Scouts in an automobile accident on Saturday, October 8 as they were traveling to Girl Fest, a council-wide family and troop event at Camp Tongawood in Tonganoxie, Kansas. Our thoughts also go out to one Girl Scout with critical injuries in the hospital and the other Girl Scouts involved in the accident. | Volunteer on a Board Committee The GSCP2P Board of Directors looks forward to an amazing year working with and supporting you as the governing body for GSCP2P. In order to do great work, they are counting on you to exercise your ability to participate in the democratic process by serving on a board committee. This is a wonderful way for all of us to live a key component of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience by “taking action.” GSCP2P is currently looking for adults and Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors who are interested in serving on one of our Board Committees. We are specifically looking for anyone who has expertise or interest in serving on the following committees: Finance Committee Audit Committee Board Development Committee Resource Development Committee Annual Meeting Planning Committee Scholarship Committee Adult Recognition Task Force Human Resources Committee Property & Camp Committee You can find a description of each of these committees by clicking here. | Last Day to Take Girl-Delivery Orders for Fall Product Program Today, October 17, is the last day for girls to take orders on the paper order card that will be delivered by girls. Parents/guardians- your deadline to enter your Girl Scout’s orders taken on the order card in the M2 system is tonight at 11:59 pm. Any orders not entered in the M2 system by tonight’s deadline by the parent/guardian should be submitted to your troop’s fall product volunteer to enter during his/his limited order-entry window. Online orders for girl-delivery candy/nut items ends this Saturday, October 22. |
| New Camporee Request Form Camporee requests for spring 2023 are open, with the request period closing at midnight on November 11. To request a camp, units and staff-facilitated activities, please use this new form. After the November 11 deadline, we will confirm all camporee dates for spring 2023 with the service unit representative. Once all camporees are scheduled, troop camping will open for all other available dates and units through MYGS (anticipated date is December 1).
