DEIRJ Survey E-mail 
An e-mail went out last week to volunteers, staff and board members that included a link to a DEIRJ survey that GSCP2P is currently conducting as part of their Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging strategic priority. If you received this e-mail, please share your input by December 15. 

Good Turn for Goodwill Patch Contest Winner
We had 32 entries in our Good Turn for Goodwill patch contest, and we are excited to announce the winning design belongs to Ayla, a first grader from Girl Scout Troop 20023! Congratulations Ayla!

Our runner-up entry was submitted by Sunny, a third grader from Girl Scout Troop 8000.

Thank you to all the girls who participated! Troops and girls who donated items in this year’s Good Turn for Goodwill service project and submitted the patch request form will be receiving this new patch design for 2022.
 
​New Leadership Program Starting in 2023
P2P is introducing a new Teen Outdoor Leadership Program, which will build on our existing CIT program. Open to Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors, applications will open on January 9. You can find all the details on our blog, along with links to Q&A sessions coming up next week.​

Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont (GSCP2P), is one of the 111 councils from across the nation that delivers the Girl Scout program, serves nearly 12,000 girls in central and western North Carolina. With the support and guidance of nearly 6,000 volunteers, girls in grades K-12 are given opportunities for fun and friendship, while fostering the development of leadership skills and self-esteem. It is a safe environment for girls to engage in activities while they discover more about themselves and the community around them, connect with others and take action to the make the world a better place.
