Registrations Closing This Week

Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies and Juniors are invited to Keyauwee Program Center on Saturday, October 10 for Trailside Treasures: Outdoor Art. Explore nature through art with fun, hands-on projects like leaf prints, nature collages and outdoor sketching. Participants will leave with their Outdoor Art badge and a handmade craft!

Join us at Camp Pisgah October 23-25 for a Council-Wide Campout! We’re bringing together Girl Scout troops and families from across the council for an unforgettable weekend filled with magical activities, boating, archery and more. Participate in the Council Cup relay, dress up for the Great Hall Gala and dance under the stars. Exclusive patch, lodging and meals for Saturday and Sunday are all included with registration.

Want to attend with your troop? We’re making a troop camping experience easier than ever! Our staff will be running activities, so troop volunteers will not need to worry about having completed the First Aider Certification or Basic Camping Skills License by this event date. They will just need to complete the self-paced online Overnight & Activity License available in gsLearn to make this an amazing troop experience!

Hopper’s Fall Product Tips

The Fall Product Program is a great way for Girl Scouts to learn business skills while earning start up funds for the amazing Girl Scout year ahead. In addition to troop proceeds, Girl Scouts who participate can earn Nut Bucks and other reward items. Plus, troops who participate in the 2026 Fall Product Program and sell at least 100 items will receive an additional $0.05 per package of cookies sold during the upcoming Girl Scout Cookie Program.

It is time to create your avatar and online storefront, and our mascot, Hopper, has some tips for success:

  • Practice decision-making skills. Take a moment to reflect on your strategy and progress. What has worked well for you so far? What are your popular items? What goals and rewards have you earned? Has your troop continued to think about any adventures or service projects ahead? Does your avatar and storefront introduction video need any updates?
  • Practice customer acquisition (the process of attracting new customers). With in-person orders using your paper order card ending on October 19, think about who you could ask for support in your everyday life. Are there potential customers that you haven’t approached yet? In addition to family, neighbors and teachers, are you connected to other community members through sports, faith or other extracurricular activities?
  • Practice good people skills. It is ok to send someone an extra reminder or even make a phone call to see if they received your e-mail. Remember, e-mails are not just for people who live far away! And don’t forget that sending 20 e-mails through the M2 system is one of the requirements for earning a personalized avatar patch!

Cookie Hoodie Design Contest

The Cookie Hoodie Design Contest is back for another year of fun and creative expression! Create your cookie-themed masterpiece and let the council staff vote on the victor. The winner will see their artwork brought to life by our talented marketing team and receive a free hoodie! Submit your artwork by October 20 and mark your calendars as pre-orders for the winning design start on November 2! Pick up in-store in January or opt for shipping (costs apply).

Gluten-free Cookie Troop Pre-orders

Troops that would like to guarantee Gluten-free Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies (GFCCC) for the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie Program should submit their pre-order by October 20. Because these cookies are produced separately from our regular cookie lineup and baking capacity is limited, they are available to council on a preorder basis.

Only one pre-order per troop should be submitted. Pre-ordered cookies will be included with the troop’s initial cookie order. Council will order a limited number of additional cases, which will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Trefoil League Kickoff

Join the Trefoil League, an adult troop that empowers girls! As a member, you’ll support the Girl Scout mission by fostering courage, confidence and character through leadership and community service. Our virtual kickoff meeting is on Thursday, October 15 and we invite all Girl Scout adults to help shape what’s ahead by sharing ideas for community service and setting troop goals.

Interested in joining the Trefoil League, but can’t attend the kickoff meeting? Fill out our Trefoil League interest form!

Fall into Fun with Forsyth County Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts in Forsyth County are hosting two great fall events for all Girl Scouts in our council! Join the fun and encourage a friend to attend so they can discover what Girl Scout fun is all about.

Girl Scouts of Forsyth County invite you to experience history in a hands-on way! Explore activities around Historic Bethabara Park in Winston-Salem during Living History Day on Saturday, November 7. Register by October 15 to save your spot, which includes a T-shirt and fun patch!

Service Unit 142 and Girl Scout Troop 2609 of Forsyth County are hosting Diamonds and Pearls Girl Scout Tea on Saturday, October 24 in Walkertown. Dress in your finest ensemble and enjoy an afternoon of tea, treats and treasure.

Where Community Grows: Good Turn for Goodwill

Every year in the fall, Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont and Goodwill Industries partner together to kick off the annual Good Turn for Goodwill service project. This service project teaches girls about Goodwill’s employment and training programs and how the donations they give to the organization help to support these efforts. Find full details on how to participate and earn the patch on our blog!

More discoveries await! Use our Community Partner Directory to schedule unique experiences for your troop.

Adult Volunteer Resources & Trainings

Rallyhood is our council’s FREE one-stop communication and collaboration tool for GSCP2P Girl Scout adults and volunteers. Connect with your troop, service unit and even the entire council when you join certain rallies.

Building connections with troop families and service unit volunteers can make a big impact on your local Girl Scout experience! In addition to conversations in your service unit rally, stay in the know by attending regularly hosted service unit meetings. Service units are the local network of volunteers and families and help our council provide support in your area.

Are you a troop or service unit volunteer and unsure where to start when it comes to managing your rally? Start with the calendar feature by entering meeting dates and for events your team is hosting. Stripe payment processing features for troop and service unit rallies can be requested. Once installed, you will be able to use Rallyhood to collect payments for dues and events- even for people who do not have a Rallyhood account. Troop leaders or Service Unit Specialists who are interested in accepting payments should complete the Rallyhood Stripe Request Form. Requests will be filled in the order they are received.
