A Message from our CEO and Board
This past Saturday, GSCP2P welcomed its 2021-2022 Board of Directors at their annual board retreat in Statesville. It was a wonderful day as returning and new board members met to set the course for our new membership year and imagined all the possibilities that lie ahead for GSCP2P. Highlights from the meeting included a rededication and investiture ceremony for all board members, approving a fiscally responsible 2021-2022 budget that focuses on membership growth and support and confirming our 2022-2024 Strategic Plan that focuses on five significant priorities. Launching this strategic work allows GSCP2P to roll out exciting fall and winter programs soon to membership. Programs will be both virtual and in-person and held on council properties as well as an increased focus in community partnerships. Check out our online calendar in the next few weeks for a complete list of all these fantastic programs.

With all the possibility and promise that lies ahead this new year, we are so excited for GSCP2P to offer relevant and meaningful experiences to a membership body that accurately reflects the diverse world in which we operate. If you have ideas on how we can continue this work together, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Yours in Girl Scouting,
