National Girl Scout Leader’s Day is This Week
Happy Volunteer Appreciation Month! Did you know that April 22 is a day to recognize Girl Scout volunteers who mentor girls, build character and lead troops? There are many ways to celebrate your leader, and our free family toolkit can help! Take a moment to reflect on the new skills and adventures that your troop leader has helped make possible, and be sure to thank them for their support.

Girl Scout Voices Count National Survey Closes Next Week

Your voice counts, but time is running out! Your feedback helps us learn, grow and make Girl Scouts the best it can be. Check your e-mail for a personal invite to take the annual Girl Scout Voices Count survey and share your thoughts by Friday, May 1!
Camp Pisgah Opening
We are happy to share that Camp Pisgah now has an OPENING date for spring! Reservations for units at Camp Pisgah will be open for troop reservations starting Tuesday, May 5 with the first available weekend date starting May 15. Camp Pisgah will remain open through the summer, but please be aware that we are unable to do any council-facilitated activities at this present time. We plan to offer these activities starting in September for our fall season. Fall dates for troop camping will be launched mid-June for both Camp Pisgah and Keyauwee Program Center. Camp Ginger Cascades will remain closed as we assess maintenance needs and repair costs.

How does your troop reserve a spot to come visit Camp Pisgah? Starting on May 5, visit our page on CampLife and make your reservation directly online. Please note: Reservation “holds” will not be accepted prior to May 5. Reservations are first come, first served, and troops must make reservations directly online through CampLife. Make sure the person making the reservation has access to the payment method you will be using as a booking is not reserved until the deposit is successfully paid. Group reservations (i.e. those with two or more units) do not accommodate deposits, so if your troop wants multiple units at once, you will either need to do multiple reservations or pay in full up front. Should you run into any difficulty making your reservation, click here for an instructional video or contact a member of our team during business hours.
Have a GSCP2P gift certificate or program credit that you wish to redeem? First, create your reservation in CampLife, pay your 25% deposit and then contact us to redeem your credit.
A note about Service Unit Camporees:
Fall Camporee date requests (between September 10-November 22, 2026) can be submitted starting next week for both Camp Pisgah and Keyauwee Program Center. A form will be shared with the Service Teams directly for date and location requests. We will accept fall requests through May 29 with dates confirmed by June 12 and all available units released for troop camping by June 13.

Pizza Party Time

Congratulations to Troop 10251 of Service Unit 147 and to Troop 41353 of Service Unit 157 for being the top two troops with the highest increase in direct ship orders between February 24 and March 15! Meeting this challenge has earned them an exclusive sleepover party at the GSCP2P Service Center of their choice-complete with a movie, snacks, pizza, activity and special guest- our CEO, Elaine Loyack!
Explore More Summer Camp
We are excited to Explore More Camp! View our 2026 Summer Camp Program Guide to discover all the fun we have planned for overnight campers at Keyauwee Program Center and for day campers joining us in Black Mountain, Greensboro, Hickory and Winston-Salem.
In the program guide, you’ll find a readiness quiz to help you choose the best program for you and your camper as well as a scavenger hunt! Submit your scavenger hunt answers by April 30 to be entered into a drawing for a special camp care package.
To apply Cookie Dough, Daisy Dollars or Nut Buck credits to your summer camp registration fees, please contact info@girlscoutsp2p.org.

We want every Girl Scout to be able to attend camp regardless of their financial situation. Once you register for a program and pay a $50 non-refundable deposit, you will have access to our online financial aid application. Receiving financial aid is confidential. Our camp staff do not know who receives financial assistance. Last year, campers who applied for financial assistance received an average of $280 to use on registration fees.
