Celebrate National Nonprofit Day

It’s National Nonprofit Day, and we want to thank every volunteer, donor and supporter of the Girl Scout Movement. Because of your dedication and generosity, we ensure all girls, in every community, have the chance to belong, explore and thrive. We need your help in shaping a future where girls grow into confident, resilient and compassionate adults. Watch your investment create ripple effects for years to come by donating today in honor of National Nonprofit Day.

Become a Global Advocacy Champion

The Global Advocacy Champions network is a chance for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts aged 18-30 to build advocacy and leadership skills, meet other young women from around the world, and take their voice to the global stage. Participants receive training and development opportunities covering advocacy, communications and public speaking. They will have opportunities to engage in global spaces such as the UN Commission on the Status of Women and participate in the Girl-led Action on Climate Change program. Applications are now open for the Global Advocacy Champions 2026-2027 and close on September 17!

New! Adult Trefoil League

Trefoil League is our new adult Girl Scout troop for women who want to continue their Girl Scout journey through leadership, service, volunteering, community engagement and supporting GSCP2P programs and initiatives. It is a great opportunity for young alumn, recent college graduates and adults looking for an active way to stay connected to Girl Scouts while building friendships, leadership skills and community connections. Members will have opportunities to serve together, build leadership skills, support council events, connect with other adult Girl Scouts and make an impact in our communities. Any adult member can join the monthly Trefoil League meetings by registering for the meetings that will be listed on our calendar soon. Applications to be a leader of our adult troop are now open and close on August 25.

Looking for a different experience to keep you connected to the Girl Scout spirit? The Trefoil Guild is an established adult Girl Scout group focused on fellowship, friendship, activities, events and staying connected to Girl Scouting. Members come from all levels of Girl Scout experience and participate in Guild activities based on their interests. To learn more about the Asheville and Triad guilds, please contact info@girlscoutsp2p.org.

Become a Media Girl

The Media Girls team is open to GSCP2P Girl Scouts of all age levels. Our season runs from October through May with additional opportunities in the summer. As a Media Girl, you will learn about various careers and discover your strengths and interests through first-hand media experiences. You could find yourself representing our council through tv or radio interview, conducting interviews at Girl Scout events, creating social media content, writing blogs and more! Applications are open now through September 14.

Know a recent graduate interested in a media career? Our fall marketing internship is still accepting applications and applications for our spring marketing internship are now open! This is a great opportunity for young adults to build their portfolio with our nationally recognized brand. Former Girl Scout experience is not required.

GSCP2P Wants to Know: Summer Survey

As we enthusiastically head into a new Girl Scout year, please take a moment to reflect on your recent Girl Scout experiences by completing our GSCP2P Wants to Know: Summer Survey. Your feedback is immensely valuable in informing the work we do to serve the girls of our council.

Travel to the Past at Old Salem

Girl Scouts of all levels are invited to explore early American life during Girl Scout Day at Old Salem Museums and Gardens on Saturday, September 12. Participants will enjoy hands‑on activities led by museum educators and costumed interpreters while discovering the science, craftsmanship and daily life of this 18th‑century Moravian community. All Girl Scouts will receive an Old Salem fun patch.

More discoveries await! Use our Community Partner Directory to schedule unique experiences for your troop.
