Help Name Our Fall Product Mascot
Begin the new Girl Scout year with great programming and the opportunity to raise funds for upcoming adventures! The Fall Product Program starts September 14 and is a great way for Girl Scouts to learn entrepreneurial skills like goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics. The Fall Product Program is directed toward friends and family of Girl Scouts and enables troops to earn startup funds for the year by selling candy, nuts and “Magazines & More” items.
In addition to troop proceeds, Girl Scouts who participate can earn Nut Bucks and other reward items. Nut Bucks are credits that can be used on purchases at any of GSCP2P’s shops or camp trading posts, for admission to council events, for summer camp fees and even used to help you travel through council-sponsored pathway trips like GSUSA-sponsored Destinations or GSUSA-sponsored getaways.

This year’s fall product mascot is the Kangaroo! Our summer campers helped to craft a slate of names, but we need your help choosing the perfect identity for our newest Girl Scout friend! Place your vote by September 10!
Council-Wide Campout
Join us at Camp Pisgah October 23-25 for a Council-Wide Campout! We’re bringing together Girl Scout troops and families from across the council for an unforgettable weekend filled with magical activities. From playful Quidditch matches to traditional camp experiences, this weekend is designed to spark imagination and connection. As the sun sets, everyone can enjoy an enchanting ball under the stars.

Equestrian Adventures Ahead
September is bringing unique equestrian opportunities for Girl Scouts!

Our Circle C Equestrian Center invites Girl Scouts ages 13+ to a Riding Instructor-in-Training Orientation on Saturday, September 12. The Riding Instructor-in-Training (RIIT) program teaches leadership and horsemanship while providing exclusive riding sessions and special opportunities. Circle C is also hosting a Junior RIIT event on Saturday, September 19 for Girl Scout Juniors who are curious about becoming future RIITs. Spend time at the barn and take a hands-on learning approach as we discover the fundamentals of grooming and safely leading horses.
Circle C is also forming an Adaptive Equestrian Show Team for this fall! This four-part series is intentionally designed for Girl Scout Brownie and Juniors who have a diagnosed developmental, learning, sensory or physical difference and who benefit from a supported, adaptive approach to instruction. Our goal is to create a positive, team-oriented environment where every rider feels successful, included and celebrated. No previous horse experience is necessary. Each session will include foundations of safe horse handling and care, riding instruction tailored to each rider’s strengths and learning style, introduction to horse show skills, including patterns, presentation and ring etiquette and team-based activities that foster cooperation, confidence and connection. The program will conclude with a fun and supportive in-house horse show where riders can demonstrate what they’ve learned in a low-pressure setting.
Girl Scouts of all ages are invited to join us at Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring on Saturday, September 26 for No Horse? No Problem! Let’s Go to a Horse Show. Learn what happens at different types of Horse Shows and what etiquette needs to be followed by spectators. Then, head into the main indoor arena to be “Fans In The Stands” at the North Carolina Special Olympics Equestrian Championships, where you will watch athletes show their horses and see what it takes to win a class. Watch riders compete in various classes, observe exhibitors and explore the excitement of equestrian competition.

GSCP2P Wants to Know: Summer Survey

As we enthusiastically head into a new Girl Scout year, please take a moment to reflect on your recent Girl Scout experiences by completing our GSCP2P Wants to Know: Summer Survey. Your feedback is immensely valuable in informing the work we do to serve the girls of our council.
Become a Media Girl
The Media Girls team is open to GSCP2P Girl Scouts of all age levels. Our season runs from October through May with additional opportunities in the summer. As a Media Girl, you will learn about various careers and discover your strengths and interests through first-hand media experiences. You could find yourself representing our council through tv or radio interview, conducting interviews at Girl Scout events, creating social media content, writing blogs and more! Applications are open now through September 14.

Know a recent graduate interested in a media career? Our fall marketing internship is still accepting applications and applications for our spring marketing internship are now open! This is a great opportunity for young adults to build their portfolio with our nationally recognized brand. Former Girl Scout experience is not required.
Become a Global Advocacy Champion

The Global Advocacy Champions network is a chance for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts aged 18-30 to build advocacy and leadership skills, meet other young women from around the world and take their voice to the global stage. Participants receive training and development opportunities covering advocacy, communications and public speaking. They will have opportunities to engage in global spaces such as the UN Commission on the Status of Women and participate in the Girl-led Action on Climate Change program. Applications are now open for the Global Advocacy Champions 2026-2027 and close on September 17!
Explore State Parks
Girl Scouts Love State Parks Weekend takes place September 11–13, 2026 across the country. Girl Scouts, their families and friends can explore local parks through self-guided tours, hikes and the special events listed on our calendar. Earn the official 2026 commemorative patch and check off activities on the national outdoor passport sheet. Download your passport sheet and find more resources here!

More discoveries await! Use our Community Partner Directory to schedule unique experiences for your troop.
Patch of the Month: Passport to Adventure

Create unforgettable memories, learn new skills and explore—all while having fun. This program offers a personalized passport with a “Bucket List” of activities in eight categories. Enjoy adventures with family, your Girl Scout troop or solo. Earn check marks and work towards the exclusive Passport to Adventure Patch.
Adult Volunteer Resources & Trainings
Rallyhood is our council’s FREE one-stop communication and collaboration tool for GSCP2P Girl Scout adults and volunteers. Connect with your troop, service unit and even the entire council when you join certain rallies.
Building connections with troop families and service unit volunteers can make a big impact on your local Girl Scout experience! In addition to conversations in your service unit rally, stay in the know by attending regularly hosted service unit meetings. Service units are the local network of volunteers and families and help our council provide support in your area.

Stripe payment processing features for troop and service unit rallies can be requested. Once installed, you will be able to use Rallyhood to collect payments for dues and events- even for people who do not have a Rallyhood account. Troop leaders or Service Unit Specialists who are interested in accepting payments should complete the Rallyhood Stripe Request Form. Requests will be filled in the order they are received.
